Who handles your data
The data controller is Enrico Crocicchia, Largo delle Fornaci, 01012 Capranica (VT), Italy, P.IVA 02357460563, who runs PromoTimer. For any question: privacy@promotimer.com.
What data
Your email address, the language of the page, the date and wording of the consent you gave, the page you signed up from with any campaign parameters (utm), and a non-reversible fingerprint of your IP address, used only to protect the form from abuse.
Why, and on what basis
To write to you about the opening of PromoTimer and product news, based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The IP fingerprint is based on our legitimate interest in protecting the service (Art. 6(1)(f)).
How long
Until you unsubscribe. If we stop writing, no longer than 24 months from sign-up, after which the data is deleted.
Who sees it
Only us and the providers that help us run the service, appointed as processors: the server hosting the data, in the European Union, the email delivery service and the encrypted backup service. They are: Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany), which hosts the server in Nuremberg; Plus Five Five, Inc. (Resend, United States), for sending emails; Cloudflare, Inc. (United States), for backups, encrypted before they leave our server, and for forwarding emails sent to privacy@promotimer.com. For the two US providers, transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, under which they are certified, and on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We never sell or share your data.
Cookies
This page uses no cookies and no advertising tools. It only remembers the language you choose, in your browser's storage, which you can clear at any time. It anonymously counts, with no cookies and no data about you, how long the island at the top stays visible or hidden and on which page: it helps us not cover the site.
Your rights
You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, object to processing and withdraw consent at any time (effective from then on). Every email has an unsubscribe link, or write to privacy@promotimer.com. You can also file a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it) or the one in your country.
